Ironically, the CFRAM Poddle options report of the 2000s examined an option for flood relief: “A suitable diversion route has been identified from the Poddle to the Dodder along Tymon Park running south of the M50.” Eight centuries after the monks turned the Dodder into the Poddle, the engineers proposed sending it back.
